The Clean Pet Food Revolution book cover by Dr. Ernie Ward and Alice Oven

The Clean Pet Food Revolution

With coauthor Alice Oven, The Clean Pet Food Revolution challenges familiar assumptions about pet food and asks how science, nutrition, alternative proteins, and sustainable sourcing could reshape the way we feed dogs and cats. The book explores a simple but important idea: pets need the right nutrients, not necessarily the same ingredients we have always associated with pet food. It also looks at the environmental cost of feeding the world’s pets, and how better formulation can support animal health while reducing that footprint.
